LISTENING TO A COMPACT DISC

1 Set the FUNCTION switch to CD.

The OPE/BATT indicator iights.

2 Press OPEN to open the disc compartment.

3 Piace a disc in the center with the labei side up and ciose

the disc compartment.

You can aiso piace a smaiier 3-inch (8 cm) disc.

4 Press the ►!! PLAY/PAUSE button to start CD play.

Basic operation

Press the foiiowing buttons.

To stop

■ STOP/MEMORY button

To pause ► II PLAY/PAUSE button

To resume piay, press the button again.

After listening

Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER 6 STANDBY/TAPE.

NOTE

• Press the ■ STOP/MEMORY button to stop piay before opening the

disc compartment.

■ Do not piace more than one disc in the disc compartment at the same

time.

' If the video image of a nearby television is distorted or noise is heard

from a radio during CD piay, move the unit further away from the

affected teievision or radio.
